With Gui Zhi, for pain in the upper extremities.
Caulis Piperis Futokadsurae Hai Feng Teng 15g Dispels Wind-Dampness, unblocks the channels, disperses Cold and stops pain.
With Gui Zhi, for pain, impaired joint movement and spasms of the sinews due to Wind-Damp Bi.
Caulis Spatholobi Ji Xue Teng 10g Invigorates and tonifies the Blood, activates the channels and relaxes the sinews.
Hb. Siegesbeckiae Xi Xian Cao 10g Dispels Wind-Dampness, strengthens the sinews and unblocks the channels and collaterals.
Ram. Cinnamomi Gui Zhi 10g Releases the Exterior, assists Yang, adjusts the Ying and Wei, releases the muscle layer, warms the channels and collaterals to relieve pain and warms and facilitates the flow of Qi through the channels and collaterals and Blood through the vessels.
With Bai Shao, for External Wind-Cold with disharmony between the Ying and Wei.

  • Contraindicated for those with Heat Accumulation.

For aversion to Wind, Cold or Damp: For coldness of the elbow:
+ 6g Rx. Ephedrae Ma Huang + 5g Cx. Cinnamomi Rou Gui
+ 10g Rx. Angelicae Pubescentis Du Huo + 6g Rx. Aconiti Lateralis Preparata Zhi Fu Zi
For heaviness of the limbs, especially the affected limb:
